Wednesday, April 12, 2010 our Paris Tigers boys’ tennis team traveled to St. Anthony to face the Bulldog’s. One of the toughest tennis teams in the state. The boys all played as hard as they could but couldn’t get the victory. St. Anthony overall won 18-1.
Aaron Garver, otherwise known by the seniors as Miranda, lost his match 3-8. He faced the St. Anthony player that placed 12th in the state last year. When asked what he thought overall of the team’s performance, Mike Wells said, “We did really good, but the other team was just better…”
Aaron Garver said, “We all played our little hearts out, but we couldn’t get that victory. According to Mrs. McFatridge that was some of the best tennis she’d seen us play in a while.”
